Job description

Role Overview


The ERP Implementation Executive will be responsible for coordinating and executing the ERP rollout across all departments of the garment factory — including merchandising, production, planning, cutting, sewing, finishing, stores, and accounts.

The role requires someone who can understand the manufacturing workflow, communicate effectively with the ERP vendor, and ensure smooth adoption of the system by end users.

Key Responsibilities



1.

Process Understanding & Mapping


  • Study existing business processes in merchandising, PPC, production, inventory, and accounts.

  • Document workflows, approvals, and data requirements for each department.

  • Map current processes into ERP modules and highlight gaps for customization.


2.

ERP Implementation & Configuration


  • Coordinate with ERP vendor for configuration, module setup, and testing.

  • Manage data migration (styles, BOM, customers, fabric trims, etc.).

  • Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with department heads and ensure process alignment.


3.

Training & Support


  • Organize user training sessions and prepare easy-to-follow SOPs and guides.

  • Provide on-floor support during go-live and initial rollout phase.

  • Monitor daily system usage, report errors, and ensure timely resolution.


4.

Communication & Coordination


  • Serve as single point of contact between management, ERP vendor, and internal teams.

  • Track progress, pending issues, and share weekly updates with management.

  • Coordinate implementation timelines and testing schedules with department heads.


5.

Continuous Improvement


  • Evaluate system performance and suggest process automation/improvement.

  • Support management in developing MIS reports and dashboards from ERP data.

  • Maintain system hygiene – ensure correct master data, user roles, and access controls.


Desired Candidate Profile


  • Graduate / Diploma in Engineering / IT / Apparel Technology / Systems Management

  • 2–5 years’ experience in ERP implementation or garment industry systems

  • Strong understanding of garment manufacturing workflow (cutting, sewing, finishing, dispatch)

  • Familiar with ERPNext / SAP Business One / WFX / Tally Prime / Zoho Creator ERP or similar systems

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Strong in Excel, documentation, and process flow diagrams

  • Fluent in English & Tamil (Hindi optional)
